History:
James attended Stroud College for 3 years and specialised in Illustration and Graphic design. He graduated in 2006. He has since continued creating his artworks for himself at home.
Method:
He workson tin cans, card, pottery,shoes and t-shirts. Sometimes spraying with his own stencil designs, collaging elements he's illustrated, applying watercolour and stickers -doing what he wants to do imagewise with robots, his unique cartoons and text
Philosophy:
James i s inspired by music and fashion. Outsider art, Russian Constructivism, Ruchenburg, Lictenstein and imaragy from Punk Rock posters
Sometimes inspiration comes from mistakes or happy accidents. Images just make themselves apparent when he starts painting as if they'd always meant to be there. Try everything, embrace it and something great out of it all.
